What is Dynamics NAV?
Dynamics NAV also known as Navision is a fully modifiable, scalable ERP solution designed for mid size companies. NAV has extensive breadth and depth to its functionality. It was designed from the beginning to be modified by a company to suite them the way they want to operate.
History of Dynamics NAV
Dynamics NAV began as Navision out of Copenhagen, Denmark. Navision made it's way to the United States in 1996 and its US presence was established in Atlanta, Georgia. Navision has a reputation as a robust, cutting edge solution that can be molded to match the needs of a company specifically the way they want to operate. Navision has always been tightly integrated to all the Microsoft products and always obtained the Microsoft logos and migrated to new platforms faster than any other mid market product. Navision was purchased by Microsoft in 2002. Microsoft subsequently rebranded all of the Microsoft Business Solutions Products with the Dynamics moniker. So Navision is now called Dynamics NAV and it is better than ever with more than 50,000 installs in numerous countries around the world.
